Giuliana Cunéaz, with her video /Quantum Vacuum/ (2005), will represent Italy as part of the Femlink project 2007 www.femlink.org.

It is an initiative involving 39 artists from 39 different countries who will each create a short video around the theme of Resistance. Cultural diversity is the root of the project, which during 2007, will be presented at the Women's Caucus for Art International Video Screening in New York, at the Multimedia Center Mala Stanica in Skopje in Macedonia and at the headquarters of Contemporary Media and Art in Berlin.
In the words of Giuliana Cunéaz "Quantum Vacuum" is a sacred dance between the organism and its immediate surroundings.

You can perceive the capacity of resistance of an immortal being. The position of the person that appears in the video embodies a strong physical and spiritual tension".
