This video originates from the desire to investigate the complex and multiform nature that characterises the individual when he finds himself in a state that is different to the ordinary state of consciousness. I created images, took videos and photographs that document various states of trance, particularly hypnotic, transcendental, psychic, hysteric, regressive, dissociative, ecstatic, shamanic, sleepwalking, hallucinatory, sleep, depersonalisation and catalepsy. Through this process, I sought to capture the mysterious and metamorphic nature of the conscience and to create a way to get closer to that indistinctive other place, when we ask ourselves the inevitable question: Where are you when you cannot perceive your own presence?
