The book contains an overview of the relationship between art and new technologies, from the last decades of the 20th century to the most recent experimental works. In particular, it investigates research into Artificial Intelligence, posthuman, the relations between art and the web, extended reality and the use of video in today’s world, experimenting with sound. It ends with a focus on eighty-six Italian artists who work in this field, in Italy and abroad.
