The video stems from a dream and was the source of my reflection around the theme of the complex work, which led me to create the work “L’offrande du coeur” and in 2000 the Il Cervello nella Vasca [The Brain in a Vat] project.
The video, set between rocks and impassable channels, shows the images of an exhausting and vertiginous search for seven silver flowers while a narrator’s voice recounts: “Every year in this place seven flowers grow, not all of them always manage to bloom, sometimes only some of them know how to do it…but I am here and I am waiting for this to happen to be able to give them to someone as a gift”.
